Hegel versus immediate knowledge: a critical analysis of the first chapter of the Phenomenology of Spirit

Resumo: The following article intends to clarify some presuppositions inherentto the argument presented in the first chapter of Hegel´s Phenomenologyof Spirit. For such aim, I will first make some remarks on the internalrelation between this work and the posterior hegelian project of a systemof Absolute Reason, this last having the Science of Logic as its mostadequate exposition. After a brief description of the dialethical methodproper to the regarded text, I will point out a couple diculties that markthe beginning of Hegel´s investigation.
