Segundo Fante (2005), Bullying é uma palavra de origem inglesa, que é utilizada para definir o desejo consciente e deliberado de maltratar outros indivíduos e submetê-los à tensão. Este termo conceitua comportamentos agressivos e violentos no âmbito escolar. Não há ainda uma palavra no Brasil que defina o “Bullying”, seu sentido é considerado uma espécie de tirania.The student assistance psychologists at UFRA created this material to address Bullying as a theme. What it is, how it occurs, what types it presents and what are the consequences for those involved. The Bullying Phenomenon has become a frequent behavior in contemporary society and despite being part of what is considered violence, it is not given the necessary attention.
