Resumo: Organic acids from residues decomposition of sugarcane, are able to interact with elements of the soil solution, creating organic complexes with aluminum, calcium and magnesium, thus reducing the toxic aluminum (Al) and increasing cation mobility profile. The objective of this study was to evaluate the efficiency of plant extracts of three varieties of sugarcane, in neutralizing acidity and cation mobility in the soil profile by laboratory method. The following variables were evaluated: cations content, content of functional groups, electrical conductivity, content and concentration of organic acids. The experimental design was completely randomized, with five replications. The results were submitted to analysis of variance and the difference between treatment means was assessed by 5% Tukey test. The plant extract the variety RB867515 presented concentration of functional groups, basic cations content, EC and amount of organic acids statistically superior to the other studied extracts, indicating greater neutralization capacity phytotoxic Al and mobilization of cations throughout the soil profile.

Universidade Federal Rural da Amazônia/UFRA2018-04-17info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://ajaes.ufra.edu.br/index.php/ajaes/article/view/2242Amazonian Journal of Agricultural Sciences Journal of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences; Vol 60 No 4 (2017): RCA; 297-301Revista de Ciências Agrárias Amazonian Journal of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences; v. 60 n. 4 (2017): RCA; 297-3012177-87601517-591Xreponame:Revista de Ciências Agrárias (Belém.
