Nursing teaching and the relationships established at the hospital since the decade of 1950

Resumo: Since 1950, when the number of hospitals started to increase in Rio Grande do Sul and Brazil, the treatment of illnesses has been the main focus of hospitals. This study aimed at analyzing how Nursing training influenced the institutionalized relationships in the hospital. This was a qualitative study, based on Archeology, Genealogy, and oral History, including training nurses that were students at that time. Analysis of discourse was used to study the documents. Among other aspects, findings indicated that the focus on the treatment of illnesses by the hospital still places Health Education in a lesser position.

Este estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar como la enseñanza de enfermería primó en las relaciones instituidas por y en el hospital en este contexto. Es un estudo cualitativo, basado en la Arqueología, Genealogía y en la Historia oral. El estudio involucró en-fermeras docentes que vivenciaron ese periodo de la historia como estudantes de enfermería. Para la colecta de datos se utilizó la entrevista narrativa. En el análisis documental, fue usado el análisis del discurso. Los datos indican, entre outro aspectos, el mantenimiento práctico de el que está de educación en el hospital todavía centrado en el tratamiento de enfermedades, acción que se convierte de la educación para la salud un espa- cio secundario.A partir de 1950 no Rio Grande do Sul e no Brasil ocorre uma ampliação do número de hospitais, transforma-dos em um cenário para o tratamento da doença. Este estudo teve por objetivo analisar como o ensino de Enferma-gem permeou as relações instituídas no hospital, neste contexto. Trata-se de estudo qualitativo, baseado na Ar-queologia, Genealogia e na História oral. O estudo envolveu enfermeiras docentes que vivenciaram esse período da história como graduandas em Enfermagem. Para a coleta de dados utilizou-se a entrevista narrativa. Na análise documental, foi utilizada a análise de discurso.
