Resumo: The research identified feelings of pleasure and suffering experienced by 30 nurse professors in their job by verifying the dimensions of the valuation, of the exhaustion and of the recognition before the change of the labor process in view of the implementation of an innovating curriculum change. It is a quantitative study based on Dejours’ theoretical referential by utilizing Likert’s scale. The drawn conclusion is that the professors have more pleasure than suffering in their job because they feel valued, recognized and do not feel exhausted by their activities. These data highlight the importance of the relationship among the professors and their chores, peers and institution, considering that here is the place where the factors that contribute to feelings of pleasure and suffering are established

El estudio tuvo carácter cuantitativo, con base en el referencial teórico de Dejours, utilizándose la escala de Likert. Se concluyó que las docentes tienen más placer que sufrimiento en el trabajo, pues se sienten valoradas, reconocidas y no se sienten desgastadas en sus actividades. Estos son datos que revelan la importancia de las relaciones de las docentes con sus tareas, sus colegas y con la institución, por ser en este espacio donde se establecen los factores que favorecen los sentimientos de placer y sufrimientoA pesquisa identificou sentimentos de prazer e de sofrimento no trabalho de 30 docentes enfermeiras, verificando as dimensões de valorização, desgaste e reconhecimento, frente à mudança do processo laborativo diante da implementação de uma mudança curricular inovadora. Estudo quantitativo, apoiado no referencial Dejouriano, utilizando-se a escala de Likert. Concluiu-se que as docentes têm mais prazer que sofrimento, pois sentem-se valorizadas, reconhecidas e não desgastadas em suas atividades.
