Resumo: This article explores the screendance Fôlego (2018), whose theme addresses the violence practiced against black bodies in contemporary times. To that end, this work presents a brief overview about the historicity of slavery in Brazil, in particular, about the city of Campinas (SP), place of creation of the work, based on the concept of necropolitics (Mbembe, 2016). Therefore, the article discusses the virtual process of creation in screendance (Angeli, 2020), contributing to the debate about the different territorialities of the performance and the political and social provocations in dance.
