Resumo: This paper aimed to analyze the Democratic Management Project, carried out in the public school system of the state of São Paulo between 2016 and 2018, based on data produced by research that analyzed the project documents, the proposals sent by the education directorates for the configuration of democratic management in São Paulo state and interviews with those responsible for the project. The analyses showed that the project only contributed to appeasing the conflicts that occurred in the São Paulo public school system in 2015 and to convince the population and the Public Ministry that democratic management was a priority in the educational system.

The analyses showed that the project only contributed to appeasing the conflicts that occurred in the São Paulo public school system in 2015 and to convince the population and the Public Ministry that democratic management was a priority in the educational system.En este artículo buscamos hacer un análisis del Proyecto Gestión Democrática, hecho en la red pública del estado de São Paulo en los años 2016 y 2018, basando en los datos desarrollados con las investigaciones de los documentos del proyecto, las propuestas enviadas por las Secretarías de enseñanza para la configuración de la gestión democrática en el estado y entrevistas realizadas con los responsables de este proyecto. Los análisis presentaron que este proyecto solamente tuvo la función de calmar los conflictos que ocurrieron en la red de São Paulo en 2015 y para convencer la población y el Ministerio Público de que la gestión democrática era una prioridad en la red.Neste artigo buscamos analisar o Projeto Gestão Democrática, realizado na rede pública paulista entre os anos de 2016 e 2018, com base em dados produzidos por pesquisas que analisaram os documentos do projeto, as propostas enviadas pelas diretorias de ensino para a configuração da gestão democrática no estado e entrevistas realizadas com os responsáveis pelo projeto.
