Resumo: This text aims to present the recommendations of the World Bank, in the field of influence on the dictates of educational policies in force, in order to highlight whether these recommendations have been promoted in current documents ordered by the Brazilian government, outlined in laws, actions and education programs. It is an exploratory study on the theme, in which, through a critical and documentary analysis, the scope of the influence of this agency is analyzed, in the context of intensification of neoliberalism, in order to inquire how these recommendations are being established in the practice of educational systems and how the current reforms have been outlined.
