The FUNDEB Forum: a Paraná invention in the control of education resources

Resumo: | This paper presents an experience, in the state of Paraná, about a space of social mobilization that brings together different subjects interested in the control of public education resources: the Permanent Control and Monitoring of Educational Resources Forum, better known among participants as FUNDEB Forum. To know the history of this space. it was conducted an interview with one of the idealizers of the Forum, State Representative Tadeu Veneri. It was also sought to discuss the democratizing potential of the FUNDEB Councils based on an exploratory study on the subjects that were present at the last session of the Forum held in 2017. Although the current political conjuncture prints a disbelief in structures of social participation, it was perceived with the study that there is a potentiality inferred to the Forum of FUNDEB as a space of confrontation to the individual and solitary action of councils and counselors in the control of part of the educational resources. |

Para se conhecer o histórico desse espaço foi realizada entrevista com um dos idealizadores do Fórum, o deputado estadual Tadeu Veneri. Buscou-se, ainda, discutir sobre as potencialidades democratizantes dos Conselhos do FUNDEB a partir de um estudo exploratório sobre os sujeitos que estiveram presentes na última sessão do Fórum, realizada em 2017.
