Resumo: The article is structured in four sections. The first one describes what are the conditions, determinants and indicators of the financing of compulsory education in Spain. Among them, there will be the model of a territorial organization of a decentralized State, in which the Autonomous Communities acquire a decisive role in the self-government of the important educational competences they have and, therefore, in their financing. The second one deals with the most recent educational policy measures on the financing of education in Spain. The fundamental instrument that is the General State Budget Law for the year 2023 and the different Budget Laws of the Autonomous Communities are analyzed. The third section reflects on the critical issues and questions raised by financing. One of these problems has to do with the inequality that exists between the Autonomous Communities in significant aspects. And finally, the relationship between financing policies and issues of quality, equity and social justice is discussed.

Entre ellos, se contará con que el modelo de una organización territorial de un Estado descentralizado, en el que las Comunidades Autónomas adquieren un protagonismo decisivo en el autogobierno de las importantes competencias educativas que tienen y por lo tanto en su financiación. El segundo aborda las medidas más recientes de la política educativa sobre la financiación de la educación en España. Se analiza el instrumento fundamental que es la Ley de Presupuestos Generales del Estado para el año 2023 y las diferentes Leyes de Presupuestos de las Comunidades Autónomas. El apartado tercero reflexiona sobre los problemas y aspectos críticos que plantea la financiación; uno de esos problemas tiene que ver con la desigualdad que existe entre las Comunidades Autónomas en aspectos significativos. Y, por último, se trata la relación de las políticas de financiación con cuestiones de calidad, equidad y justicia social.O artigo está estruturado em quatro seções.
