Teacher's salaries: explanatory factors for the variation in the average remuneration among municipal primary schools

Resumo: In times of uncertainty about the continuity of funding policies, research on educational policies reaffirm the importance of analyzes regarding the impact of education funding on the valuation of teaching professionals. Teacher appreciation comprises several aspects, but this work specifically deals with the remuneration of teachers with higher education in public schools of basic education in the municipal network of the state of Acre, in 2017, with the objective of analyzing some factors that may be related to the inequality of teacher remuneration among the municipalities of Acre. As sources, reports and analytical data from SIOPE and data from the Educational Data Laboratory based on microdata from the 2017 School Census were used. The study did not find enough evidence to indicate a significant relationship between the analyzed variables and the average remuneration of the analyzed group, nor clear evidence on how much the potential of resources linked to education explains this inequality.

La apreciación de los docentes abarca varios aspectos, pero este trabajo trata específicamente de la remuneración de los docentes con educación superior en las escuelas públicas de educación primaria en la red municipal del estado de Acre, en 2017, con el objetivo de analizar algunos factores que pueden estar relacionados con la desigualdad de la remuneración docente entre los municipios de Acre. Como fuentes se utilizaron informes y datos analíticos del Sistema de Información de Presupuestos Públicos en Educación y datos del Laboratorio de Datos Educativos basados en microdatos del Censo Escolar 2017. El estudio no encontró evidencia suficiente para indicar una relación significativa entre las variables analizadas y la remuneración media del grupo analizado, ni evidencia clara de cuánto explica esta desigualdad el potencial de los recursos vinculados a la educación.Em tempos de incertezas sobre a continuidade das políticas de fundos, pesquisas sobre políticas educacionais reafirmam a importância das análises quanto ao impacto do financiamento da educação na valorização dos profissionais do magistério. A valorização docente compreende vários aspectos, mas este trabalho trata especificamente da remuneração dos docentes com nível superior das escolas públicas da educação básica da rede municipal do estado do Acre, em 2017, com o objetivo de analisar alguns fatores que podem estar relacionados à desigualdade da remuneração docente entre os municípios acreanos. Utilizaram-se, como fontes, os relatórios e os dados analíticos do Sistema de Informações sobre Orçamentos Públicos em Educação e dados do Laboratório de Dados Educacionais a partir dos microdados do Censo Escolar de 2017.
