Resumo: The purpose of this article is to present some reflections on the relationship story and film from the analysis of the documentary film Conduct Unbecoming. The film- documentary in question discusses several moments of contemporary history of Cuba. In the article we explore the question of the use of documentary as a source to study the past. In this way, we analyze the conditions of production of the documentary and the complaints made by respondents about the lack of human rights in the 1960, 1970 and 1980 in Cuba.
