Resumo: The work is a theoretical reflection about the body in the condition of a semiotic event, from research developed in the Cyberevent Research Laboratory (LIC). Thus, the body is taken as a sign and an event that produce fundamental discourse in the constitution of identity and self. It also draws up a space that brings imbricated itself the possibilities of subjection of the individual or search for freedom. To be constructed in different media platforms, the body has its stepped semiotic powers.

El cuerpo se entiende como signo y acontecimiento, que producen el discurso fundamental en la constitución de la identidad y del self. También elabora un espacio que trae en sí imbricado las posibilidades de sujeción de la persona en la búsqueda de la libertad. A construirse en diferentes plataformas de medios, el cuerpo tiene sus poderes semióticos ampliados.O trabalho faz reflexão teórica sobre o corpo na condição de acontecimento semiótico, a partir de pesquisas desenvolvidas no âmbito do Laboratório de Investigação do Ciberacontecimento. Desta forma, pensa-se o corpo como signo e acontecimento que produzem discurso fundamental na constituição de identidades e do self. Também se desenha como espaço que traz imbricadas em si as possibilidades de assujeitamento do indivíduo ou de busca por liberdade.
