Resumo: In a dialogue with authors like Jean Paiget, Humberto Maturana and Francisco Varela, the text proposes that the establishment of the thinking being as a unit that is distinct from the environment is a construction always on march that inscribes the border between the cognitive subject and what would be its environment in coordinates that very during this subect history. Concepts this inscription as the effect of the operation of aparently contradictory categories, as the mechanisms of closing and opening, or of integration and distinction that are characteristic of the cognitive system in its relation to the environment. The exam of the relation author-reader points to the possibility of concepting it as a point of visibility of the relations, as they proposed in this text, between the subject and its exteriority.
