Scientific Communication: the place of the subject in knowledge construction

Resumo: The article discusses subjectivity in scientific communication. It highlights the level of innovation of a great deal of publications. It criticizes the imperative to publish and consequent publication of non original material. It claims that the overuse in citation operates as a guarantee of academic quality. It emphasises the need for publicising everyday experiences of non-scholarly professionals. It highlights the importance of the direct contact with the context in which the phenomenon takes place as a source of inspiration for the production of the most relevant essays. It concludes showing how emotions, sensations and beliefs contribute for scientific production, jointly with rationalism of knowledge itself.

Ressalta o baixo nível de inovação de grande parcela das publicações. Critica o publicacionismo e a decorrente produção de trabalhos calcados em comunicações anteriores. Aponta o uso exagerado de referências a trabalhos anteriores como garantia de qualidade acadêmica. Enfatiza a importância de que sejam divulgadas experiências cotidianas de profissionais não engajados nos circuitos acadêmicos formais. Ressalta a relevância do contato direto com os contextos dos fenômenos como fonte de redação de comunicações mais eficazes.
