School libraries and Web 2.0: review of lhe literature on Brazil and Portugal

Resumo: The article focuses on the role of education and library in the Information Society and introduces concepts and features of the Library 2.0 (L2). Advocates the use of Web 2.0 in the school library to optimize or develop services and products for the purpose of gaining new users, visibility and space in school and in society. Seeks to identify in publicly funded programs and implementation of libraries in schools in Brazil and Portugal, the presence or recommendations for the use of Web 2.0. Based on published reports that, in Portugal, as the initiative is the use of blogs by the school library, however a lack of comments by the User, and that the Brazilian libraries have a long way to go in terms of libraries schools but also in the context of information systems.

Aboga por el uso de la Web 2.0 en la biblioteca de la escuela para optimizar o desarrollar servicios y productos para el propósito de ganar nuevos usuarios, la visibilidad y el espacio en la escuela y en la sociedad. Trata de identificar en los programas financiados con fondos públicos y la aplicación de las bibliotecas en las escuelas de Brasil y Portugal, la presencia o recomendaciones para el uso de la Web 2.0. Sobre la base de los informes publicados que, en Portugal, ya que la iniciativa es el uso de blogs por la biblioteca de la escuela, sin embargo la falta de comentarios por parte del usuario, y que las bibliotecas brasileñas tienen un largo camino por recorrer en materia de bibliotecas escuelas, sino también en el contexto de los sistemas de información.O artigo enfoca o papel da educação e da biblioteca na Sociedade da Informação e apresenta conceitos e características da Biblioteca 2.0 (L2). Defende o uso da web 2.0, na biblioteca escolar, visando otimizar ou criar serviços e produtos, para fins de conquista dos usuários, visibilidade e espaço na escola e na sociedade. Identifica nos programas públicos de incentivo e implantação de bibliotecas nas escolas, no Brasil e em Portugal, a presença ou recomendações para o uso da web 2.0. Com base na literatura conclui que, em Portugal, já ocorre a iniciativa do uso dos blogs por parte da biblioteca escolar, porém com escassez de comentários por parte do usuário.
