Resumo: | François de Singly deals with the mechanisms through which cultural heritage occurs and, for doing so, focus on the individuals so as to introduce the notion of mobilization. To the author, the heir has to fulfill two contradictory demands of modernity in order to recognize himself as an heir. Therefore, the movements of defiliation and search for filiation are crucial for the sons and daughters to be at ease with the construction of an autonomous identity. In terms of reading taste, this happens with a distancing from the tastes of the previous generation and with a critique of these tastes, especially the ones of the mother. Finally, the author demonstrates that the heirs submit themselves to a double connection that oscillates between obedience and spontaneity, in a movement of transactions between generations. |
