Resumo: This Scientific Article refers to the academic research entitled The Importance of Games and Games in Early Childhood Education. It aims to understand the importance of games and games in the process of psychomotor development of children of the Early Childhood Education Institution Francisca Antônia de Oliveira, rural area, Apodi / RN. The implementation of playfulness in the school routine is understood, understanding this pedagogical method, considering as fundamental in the life and / or routine of the children to qualify and to develop the psychomotor and affective partners abilities, being these activities necessary for the cognitive development and obtaining knowledge as protagonists of their own knowledge. The study is based on a reflection on educational practices in the teaching of children and the whole school community, aiming at the importance of learning through play education, realizing the effectiveness of pedagogical political projects that link educational knowledge to the cultural experiences in which they are inserted, providing an interdisciplinary education, prioritizing relationships between educating, building relationships between theory and practice, strengthening pedagogical skills in educational context, valuing knowledge and autonomy of those involved, as protagonists of their knowledge, ensuring the acquisition of values in space / time, sharing previous knowledge in teaching learning, propitiating the understanding of educational knowledge in its various meanings based on their experiences and cultural experiences. Considering the importance of this theme becomes necessary to discuss it, making it real in your teaching. Believing in a liberating education, practicing it with meaning is the first step in building a society aware of its civil rights and duties. As a category of analysis, three dimensions were diagnosed: Vision of playful methods of teaching learning and use of games and games; Time for the playful in school and conviviality. Throughout this study, it was possible for children's education professionals to enjoy moments of joyful learning, promoting satisfaction and knowledge, improving their skills and competence, and organizing diverse and enjoyable learning situations.

Objetiva compreender a importância dos jogos e brincadeiras no processo de desenvolvimento psicomotor das crianças da Educação Infantil da Instituição educativa Francisca Antônia de Oliveira, zona rural, Apodi/RN. Prima-se a implementação da ludicidade na rotina escolar, compreendendo este método pedagógico, considerando como fundamental na vida e ou rotina das crianças para qualificar e desenvolver as habilidades psicomotoras e sócio afetivas, sendo estas atividades necessárias para a o desenvolvimento cognitivo e obtenção de conhecimentos como sujeitos protagonistas do seu próprio saber. O estudo fundamenta-se numa reflexão sobre as práticas educativas no ensino aprendizagem das crianças e toda a comunidade escolar, visando a importância da aprendizagem por meio do ensino lúdico, percebendo a eficácia de projetos políticos pedagógicos que vinculem os conhecimentos educacionais às vivências culturais na qual estão inseridos, proporcionando uma educação interdisciplinar, priorizando relações entre o cuidar educar, construindo relações entre teoria e prática, fortalecendo competências pedagógicas no contexto educacional, valorizando saberes e autonomia dos envolvidos, como atores protagonistas dos seus saberes, garantindo aquisição de valores no espaço/tempo, compartilhando conhecimentos prévios no ensino aprendizagem, propiciando a compreensão dos saberes educativos nos seus diversos significados a partir das suas vivencias e experiências culturais. Considerar a importância desta temática se faz necessário para discuti-la, tornando-a real em seu fazer docente. Acreditar em uma educação libertadora, praticando-a com significados é o primeiro passo para construir uma sociedade consciente dos seus direitos e deveres civis. Como categoria de analise, foi diagnosticado três dimensões: Visão de métodos lúdicos de ensino aprendizagem e uso de jogos e brincadeiras; Tempo para o lúdico na escola e Convivialidade.
