Percepções de ensino-aprendizagem de alunos na Orquestra Potiguar de Clarinetes: uma perspectiva de ensino não formal

Resumo: | Taking into account the variety of education models, non-formal education presents concepts that are consistent with the learning that occurs in the rehearsals and performances of the Potiguar Clarinets Orchestra (OPC). Having highlighted the practices that occurred in the group activities, it was noticed that the intention is manifested in a non-formal of education relationship and consequently, results in non-formal musical experiences. These students’ knowledges, besides being produced by acquisition of the contents previously established, they are also obtained through their own difficulties as they appear, from the necessities that show themselves on each rehearsal. In front of this, the major goal of this research was to investigate how the musical teaching and learning processes occur in the activities of the OPC. To know what the students and teachers think about the orchestra practices, interviews were developed for both parts. The questions made for the students attempted to identify their point of view regard the contributions that the musical practice of the orchestra provide them, whereas the questions directed to the teachers had as the goal analyzing their perspectives about the learning process of the group, this way as well as the reports about the teacher’s experience and the importance of the orchestra repertoire’s choice. The research showed that the activities of the group provide, beyond improvement on the musical readings and the group practice, extra musical experiences that have value for the personal life, such as: respect, creation of bonding friendships and opportunities to live moments of casualness. Concluding that, even though the group rehearsals happen in a space of formal teaching, the knowledge acquired by the students features a non-formal education, which allows the knowledges and life experiences that are beyond the expectations for the instrumental group. |

Ao evidenciar as práticas ocorridas nas atividades do grupo, nota-se que a intenção está manifesta em uma relação não formal de ensino e, consequentemente, resulta em experiências musicais não-formais. Os conhecimentos desses alunos, além de serem produzidos pela aquisição de conteúdos estabelecidos previamente, são obtidos também através das próprias dificuldades que vão surgindo, das necessidades que vão se mostrando a cada ensaio e principalmente pela troca de informações entre os componentes. Diante disso, o principal objetivo desta pesquisa foi investigar como ocorrem os processos de ensino e aprendizagem musical não formais nas atividades da OPC. Para tomar conhecimento sobre o que os alunos e professores pensam sobre as práticas da orquestra, foram elaboradas entrevistas para ambas partes. Os questionamentos feitos para os alunos buscavam identificar o posicionamento deles em relação às contribuições que a prática musical da orquestra os oferece, enquanto as perguntas direcionadas aos professores tinham a finalidade de analisar suas perspectivas em relação ao processo de aprendizado do grupo, assim como relatos sobre a experiência docente e a importância da escolha do repertório da orquestra. A pesquisa constatou que as atividades do grupo proporcionam, além do aperfeiçoamento na leitura musical e a prática de conjunto, experiências extramusicais de valores para a vida pessoal, como: respeito, criação de laços de amizade e oportunidades de vivenciar momentos de descontração.
