Resumo: This research paper entitled: A STUDENT WITH DISABILITIES INCLUSION WITH HEARING AND HEARING IN SCHOOL: CHALLENGES AND POSSIBILITIES, is to analyze the challenges and possibilities of the teacher in the inclusion process of children with hearing impairments / deafness in school. Was held at the Municipal School President Kennedy, in the city of Caicó - RN in two divisions of the final years of elementary school students who present with hearing loss / deafness in school. studies in a literature basis through theorists began;Quadros;Schmiedt (2006), Sampaio (2009), Gesser (2009), Asfora (2012), Mantoan (2006), Damázio (2007) among others. For data collection were carried out systematic observations and questionnaires with open and closed questions, with the conclusion on the results collected, the greatest teacher of the challenge is not to be prepared to work with these children. However, they believe that one of the possibilities to meet this challenge is to learn sign language they use to communicate.

However, they believe that one of the possibilities to meet this challenge is to learn sign language they use to communicate.O presente trabalho de pesquisa, intitulado: A INCLUSÃO DO ALUNO COM DEFICIÊNCIA AUDITIVA E COM SURDEZ NA ESCOLA: DESAFIOS E POSSIBILIDADES,tem como objetivo analisar os desafios e possibilidades do professor no processo de inclusão de crianças com deficiências auditiva/surdez na escola. Realizou-se na Escola Municipal Presidente Kennedy, localizada na cidade de Caicó – RN, em duas turmas dos anos finais do Ensino Fundamental que apresentam alunos com deficiência auditiva/surdez na escola. Iniciaram-se os estudos com uma fundamentação bibliográfica através dos teóricos Quadros; Schmiedt (2006), Sampaio (2009), Gesser (2009), Asfora (2012), Mantoan (2006), Damázio (2007) entre outros. Para a coleta de dados realizaram-se observações sistemáticas e questionários com perguntas abertas e fechadas, tendo como conclusão diante dos resultados coletados, que o maior desafio do professor é não estar preparado para trabalhar com estas crianças.
