O brincar como uma estratégia de ensino-aprendizagem na educação infantil

Playing represents for the child a creative activity and important for its development, given that the games integrates childhood, which constitutes a phase that has great relevance in the development of the child. The present work refers to a study about the theme "Playing as a learning strategy in early childhood education", with the aim of highlighting the importance of playing as a teaching and learning instrument in Early Childhood Education. For the development of the study, a methodology was used for the qualitative research aimed at consolidating the proposed objectives, so that the results obtained serve as a reflection for the re-significance of the pedagogical practice. For this, a theoretical review will be carried out, followed by a period of observation in an institution of Early Childhood Education, in order to observe how the teacher acts in relation to playing at this level of education. As basis for the theme it will be used, ideas and concepts of scholars and theorists such as LOPES (2004), KISHIMOTO (1996) and REDIN (2000), among others, in addition to a foundation in official documents such as the National Curriculum Guidelines for Early Childhood Education 2010) and the Curriculum Framework for Early Childhood Education (1998). In order to reach the proposed objectives, a qualitative bibliographic search and a field research were used, through which it was possible to draw some conclusions, which will be presented in this work. At the end of this study, one can consider that the goal was achieved, since it emphasized the importance of playing as a teaching and learning strategy in Early Childhood Education.
