Resumo: The Physical Education teacher currently requires a specific training, based on the skills of teaching and supported by the political and pedagogical of your course. The theory firmly grounded ensures that teaching is not just the practice by practice. Philippe Perrenoud and specifically his work "The skills to teach in the 21st century" (2000) is the central theme of this work monographic and was essential to help answer the main question: "As it relates the political pedagogical project of the course degree in Physical Education and skills of Perrenoud?" The author mentions the office of teacher as something in development throughout a process of evolution, is in the act of planning, doing and evaluate. Through the research of bibliographic character, the objective of this study was to: identify the skills to find out teachers, present in the political-pedagogical project of Physical Education of UFRN and relate them to the competencies and skills proposed by Perrenoud. The understanding of the act of teaching in Physical Education, in addition to the use of new technologies in support of education were also issues addressed in this work. It is expected that, through this research, the skills to teach today, are not identified only in books and scientific articles. That research will bear fruit needed, resulting in further studies in political projects teaching skills of various degree courses of Rio Grande do Norte and, who knows, in Brazil.

A teoria firmemente embasada garante que o exercício da docência não seja apenas a prática pela prática. Philippe Perrenoud e especificamente sua obra “As competências para ensinar no século XXI” (2000) é o tema central deste trabalho monográfico foi essencial para auxiliar a responder a questão principal: “Como se relaciona o Projeto Político Pedagógico do curso de licenciatura em Educação Física e as competências de Perrenoud?” O referido autor menciona o ofício de professor como algo em desenvolvimento ao longo de todo um processo de evolução, seja no ato de planejar, do fazer e de avaliar. Por meio da pesquisa de caráter bibliográfico e documental, o presente trabalho teve como objetivo geral: analisar as competências aos saberes docentes, presentes no Projeto Político Pedagógico de Educação Física da UFRN e relacioná-las às competências e habilidades propostas por Perrenoud objetivando o encontro de aproximações dos referidos trabalhos. Ao final a contextualização de ambos os projetos, verificou-se uma aproximação em cinco quesitos comuns em ambas as propostas de competências.
