This study deals with the construction process of an evangelical political career in the period from 1980 to 2010. We believe that a careful study of career trajectory from a presbyter of Assemblies of God would open space for reflection on overlap ways between the rules of political fields and other social instances. To this end, here we argue about the relevance of standards of the "spirit of the gift" system while authorizing the relationships that develop in the "political arena". Among questions that have raised in this study, is the loss of political efficacy of Partido Democr?tico Brasileiro and the expansion of evangelical presence in public space, through Pentecostal rituals in public spaces, what has proved to be effective for aggregating the interests of one set of religious. Also, it will be shown a system of rules that must be followed regardless the position that each agent occupies in a given hierarchy structure. We argue that the kind of political charisma developed by this individual differed from the others exactly which converts the acquired capital: a representative of a particular group for whom the basic features are offered by the State sparingly, PEDRO becomes a mediator between the interests of these individuals and politicians, occupying the post of head of the Partido Social Crist?o in Serop?dica.
