Educação sexual no ensino de biologia : problematizações a partir de fanzines

Resumo: The present work aims to carry out an analysis of fanzines created by students of a first-year high school class of a state school in Sergipe, in order to identify the narratives and discourses related to the themes of Sex Education that emerge from the production of fanzines in the context of Biology teaching. The bibliographic research carried out had an exploratory character and addressed post-structuralist studies related to sexual and gender diversity. The work adopted a qualitative research approach, focusing on cultural analysis. The cultural analysis aims to understand how the narratives of the students of the 1st year of High School are materialized in the production of fanzines, contributing to the problematization of discourses on the themes of Sex Education. Thus, the main results showed that, in general, students have (mis)knowledge about the themes of Sex Education and an essentialist view marked by prescriptive and hygienist approaches, which are reflections of a content-based curriculum. However, the visual representations of the fanzines proved to be a tool of great potential in the construction of new (un)learning about the themes of Sex Education in school.

A pesquisa bibliográfica realizada teve um caráter exploratório e abordou estudos pós-estruturalistas relacionados à diversidade sexual e de gênero. O trabalho adotou uma abordagem de pesquisa qualitativa, com foco na análise cultural. A análise cultural tem como finalidade compreender como as narrativas dos/as estudantes do 1ºAno do Ensino Médio se materializam na produção de fanzines, contribuindo para problematização de discursos sobre as temáticas da Educação Sexual. Assim, os principais resultados evidenciaram que, de modo geral, os/as estudantes possuem (des)conhecimentos acerca das temáticas da Educação Sexual e uma visão essencialista marcada por abordagens prescritivas e higienistas, que são reflexos de um currículo conteudista.
