Resumo: Dynamic stability is an area of study that involves the idea of a disturbing body aligning with its original state from an equilibrium position of the body or system. Present in our daily lives, dynamic stability is commonly seen in aircraft through flight in the face of gravity oscillation. Given the importance of these to worldwide research, this paper aimed to analyze the amount of patents filed in the area of dynamic stability in the patent databases of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) of the National Institute of Property. Industrial (INPI) and the European Patent Office (Espacenet). For this, the methodology used in this research relied on the use of keywords that relate to dynamic stability. The search results were analyzed, interpreted and compared, generating statistical graphs that show the technological innovation process of this branch. Based on the analysis of the results, it is observed that Brazil, when compared to other countries such as China with 312 filings in the three bases, has a low number of patents in this area, with only 19 patent filings in the INPI base alone.

Presente no nosso cotidiano, a estabilidade dinâmica é comumente vista em aeronaves através do voo diante da oscilação da gravidade. Tendo em vista a importância das mesmas para a pesquisa mundial, o presente trabalho teve por objetivo analisar a quantidade de patentes depositada na área de estabilidade dinâmica nos bancos de dados de patente da Organização Mundial da Propriedade Intelectual (WIPO), do Instituto Nacional de Propriedade Industrial (INPI) e do Escritório Europeu de Patentes (Espacenet). Para isto, a metodologia utilizada nessa pesquisa contou com a utilização de palavras-chave que se relacionam com a estabilidade dinâmica. Os resultados das buscas foram analisados, interpretados e comparados, gerando gráficos estatísticos que mostram o processo de inovação tecnológico desse ramo.
