Resumo: This study aims to present the scope and significance of scientific research in the publications of theses and dissertations bank of Higher Education Personnel Improvement Coordination (Capes) in order to understand the trends and the interrelationships between scientific research and formation in education higher. This is a survey of the type state of knowledge that seeks to support for the definition, organization and analysis of a particular area, and you can even establish social disruption. The results indicate significant and reveal a predominance of issues related to the scientific, academic and vocational training, covering the theories that support the teaching and learning processes.________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Esta es una investigación del estado del arteque tiene como objetivo apoyar a la delimitación, organización y análisis de un área en particular, e incluso se puede establecer rupturas sociales. Los resultados indican producciones significativas y revelan un predominio de las cuestiones relacionadas con la formación científica, académica y profesional, abarcando las teorías que apoyan los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje.Este estudo tem como objetivos apresentar a abrangência e os significados da iniciação científica nas publicações do banco de teses e dissertações da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (Capes) com vistas a compreender as tendências e as inter-relações entre iniciação científica e formação na educação superior. Trata-se de uma pesquisa do tipo estado do conhecimento que visa corroborar para a delimitação, organização e análise de uma determinada área, sendo possível, inclusive, estabelecer rupturas sociais.
