Contribuições das competências secretariais à gestão eclesíastica : um estudo de caso

The present work constitutes a case study and aims to analyze the secretarial skills and the multifunctionality of the secretarial professional in his activities developed in an ecclesiastical institutions, namely: of the Church Assemblies of God - Missões, Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul (MS). For that, a brief bibliographical research and an empirical research were carried out. In the latter, the use of a questionnaire to five ecclesiastical secretaries was used as an instrument of data collection. As a theoretical reference, the ideas of Santos (2011) on the case study and on the theoretical basis of the concepts of Moreira Olivo (2012) on the secretarial skills that are applied in the activities are used so that the management reaches more efficiency and there is greater ability to better advise the manager, but also to achieve better management results. The analyzes showed that in the ecclesiastical organizations researched the professional of secretariat is valued by the manager, although he does not have training in secretariat, because the manager recognizes the necessity of the development of the skills that this professional must have in that context. It was concluded that the development of these competences, through training, can indeed contribute even more to efficient ecclesiastical management.
