The present research sought to understand the performance of the executive secretary in ec-clesiastical management, in order to answer the following question: does the Ecclesiastical Management of the Parish of Nossa Senhora Rosa Mística exist for the Executive Secretary? This problematic therefore justifies the training that the professional of the secretariat holds, enabling him to assume the position of immediate adviser, organizing the functional structure of the church, controlling its files and circulating information, collecting data that can be used to and manage support teams to make the environment organized and productive. For this reason the problem presented involves the Ecclesiastical Management of the Catholic Church and the possibility of the Executive Secretariat professional in this sector in a general way and in a specific way the professional executive secretariat in the scope of the ecclesiastical man-agement of the Parish of Our Lady Mystical Rose. In order to do so, we sought to identify the profile of the Executive Secretary to work in the organization of the third sector, to analyze the characteristics of Ecclesiastical Management, and to study the role of the executive secre-tary of the Parish Nossa Senhora Rosa Mística in order to describe the routines and processes of parish secretary The methodology of this research was characterized as an explanatory deductive study, with a qualitative and explanatory approach with a technical research explored through indirect doc-umentation, allowing us to draw a line of reasoning when grouping and analyzing factual and operative situations to arrive at a general conclusion when verifying the context of current debate on the topic. In this context, it was noticed that within the ecclesiastical Organization researched, the individuals who occupy the function of secretary are members of the commu-nities and of pastoral, and do not have formation in secretariat, although the manager recog-nizes the need of a trained professional this is a subject that it deserves to be highlighted and the need for changes regarding the inclusion of the executive secretary professional in the parish secretariats
