The process of recruitment and selection plays an important role in the human resources sector. However, the traditional process of filling a vacancy may have some biases, such as hiring be based on personal similarities. Thus, the automatization of this process can be an alternative more efficient and economic. This research presents an expert system in order to facilitate the process of hiring a systems analyst in accordance with the requirements established by the contracting company. The study was conducted according to the stages of development of an expert system. The results suggest that the expert system developed supports recruiters in hiring people in line with the requirements of the contractor.
