O impacto da pandemia de Covid-19 na gestão do SUS : uma revisão da literatura

Introduction: At the end of 2019, many social, economic and political transformations occurred, both in Brazil and around the world. Numerous sectors were affected, such as Health, with its management significantly impacted. With the pandemic declared in March 2020, the Federal Government left it to the State and Municipal Governments to coordinate and issue the necessary decrees to contain the spread of the virus. Social isolation, the use of masks and alcohol gel were soon determined, and several activities were prohibited, initially causing panic among the population. With unequal financial allocations for confronting, controlling and treating COVID-19, the fragility of the Unified Health System (SUS) became evident in responding to the pandemic and maintaining pre-existing programs, spending proportionally more, contrasting with regions with higher revenues. larger and more technological health systems. Objective: to identify how SUS management was modified during the Covid-19 pandemic. Method: a review of the literature, SCIELO, LILACS and BVL databases, seeking to answer the guiding question. Results: only 12 articles met all conditions for inclusion in the review. Inclusion criteria: articles published in Portuguese in the last 4 years. Exclusion criteria: repetitive articles. Conclusion: In addition to the greater use of information and communication technologies, integrated and interdisciplinary actions and strategies were developed to combat COVID-19, but there remains a need for Governments, which must be harmonious with each other, to break the paradigm in defense of a preventive public health as provided by the legal system and the Constitution.
