As relações CTS (Ciência – Tecnologia – Sociedade) e sua abordagem no ensino de Ciências e Biologia na perspectiva de professores em formação inicial

The present work had the objective to understand how graduating of the course of Biological Sciences of the Federal University of Sergipe - FUS, mean the STS relations and its approach in the teaching of Sciences and Biology. The study was characterized as a comprehensive research of a qualitative nature and was carried out with a group of twenty-seven students from the classes of Supervised Internship in Teaching Biology IV, in the period 2017/2. For the data collection, an individual questionnaire was applied, structured in two parts, both of which were composed of six questions, all of which were objective, aiming to have an adequate relation between the STS conceptions of the trainees and how they envisaged the STS approach in the pedagogical practice. The responses obtained from the participating students were analyzed and categorized from the perspective of the content analysis proposed by Bardin (2009), which included pre-analysis, material exploration and treatment of results: inference and interpretation. The results of the research indicate that most of the teachers who participated in the research presented plausible conceptions in almost all the topics discussed about the STS conceptions. However, these conceptions do not seem to reflect in their future pedagogical practice, since the majority presented adequate results regarding the STS approach
