This course conclusion work aims to understand the needs of users regarding the use of Assistive Technology devices in a city in the interior of the state of Sergipe and its region. Through an online questionnaire, which could be answered by the user or their caregiver, the questions ranged from personal data to satisfaction in using Assistive Technology devices. Thirty users of Assistive Technology devices participated in the study, mostly female (56.7%), living with their family (83.3%), retired (60%). The most used devices and resources were wheelchairs, crutches and a bath chair, most of which were acquired by their own resources (46.7%). As for the first resource used and declared, there was a variation in the time of use, with 30% claiming to use it for more than 5 years and 30% for less than a year. With regard to5 satisfaction, 63.3% said they were satisfied. The results showed important aspects to understand the profile of Assistive Technology users and their satisfaction, finding congruence with findings in the national literature. However, the need for future studies is highlighted, associating acquisition, socioeconomic status, satisfaction with the resource, function and its status. It is noteworthy that understanding these aspects is of paramount importance for the occupational therapist to perform actions ranging from assessment, dispensing and acquisition of the device, to training in its use, so that there is an improvement in the occupational performance of this user.
