O processo de ensino e aprendizagem da matemática no 5º ano do ensino fundamental: desafios e possibilidades docentes

Resumo: | This article aims to analyze the challenges and possibilities of the teacher in the process of teaching and learning Mathematics in the 5th year of elementary school. The choice of theme is justified by the importance of Mathematics in the transition process from elementary school in the early to the final years, as well as by the difficulties faced in the application of Mathematics in different contexts, both by the teacher and the student. As a methodology, the exploratory research carried out has a qualitative approach, and consists of a bibliographic and documentary research, having as its main document the National Common Curricular Base - BNCC, which mentions all the Mathematics skills that must be developed by the children of that year. The results obtained show that it is essential to invest in the continuing education of the pedagogue, since Mathematics has its own language and theoretical and practical improvement is necessary for pedagogical performance. Knowledge about the skills to be developed in the 5th year is also of fundamental importance, so that theory is aligned with practice. |

A escolha do tema justificase pela importância da Matemática no processo de transição do ensino fundamental nos anos iniciais para os anos finais, bem como pelas dificuldades enfrentadas na aplicação da Matemática em diferentes contextos, tanto por parte do professor como do aluno. Como metodologia, a pesquisa exploratória realizada é de abordagem qualitativa, e consiste em uma pesquisa bibliográfica e documental, tendo como documento principal a Base Nacional Comum Curricular – BNCC, a qual cita todas as habilidades Matemáticas que devem ser desenvolvidas pelas crianças do referido ano. Os resultados levantados mostram que é imprescindível investir na formação continuada do pedagogo, visto que a Matemática tem uma linguagem própria e se faz necessário o aperfeiçoamento teórico e prático para a atuação pedagógica.
