Resumo: Non-formal teaching spaces are places outside the school where it is possible for teachers to develop various types of classes. These spaces, when well explored, are able to aid the learner's learning, thus constituting a pedagogical tool of great importance for the teacher in the process of teaching learning. In this way, the non-formal spaces provide an adequate environment for attractive and innovative classes, capable of stimulating interest on the part of the students. Among these spaces are: Wildlife Refuges, Riparian woods, woods near schools, which can be used as didactic resources for the various contents of education. The Poção forest, situated in the village of Colônia Treze, in Lagarto-SE, is approximately 13 km from the municipality's headquarters and located only 4 km from two teaching units: the Luiz Alves de Oliveira State College and the Mons. João Baptista de C. Daltro. This work has as proposal, a guide to practical classes of botany in the environments found in the Poção forest, where species of plants occurring in this fragment of forest are reported. In this way, in addition to contributing to the teachers of the region, with the knowledge of the local floristic diversity, there will be collaboration for the conservation of the few native forest areas remaining in the State of Sergipe. In 2010, collections of botanical material were carried out along pre-existing and non-existent trails. The collected material was herborized and soon after being properly treated and identified, they were incorporated into the collection of the ASE Herbarium of the Federal University of Sergipe. All the species collected were photographed in the field. It was inventoried 165 species, distributed in 44 botanical families. The most representative family was Fabaceae, followed by Asteraceae and Cyperaceae respectively. With the possession of this list and of the photographs, the preliminary version of the field guide for practical classes of Botany in the Potion Forest was elaborated.

Esses espaços quando bem explorados, são capazes de auxiliar o aprendizado do aluno, consistindo dessa forma, em uma ferramenta pedagógica de grande importância para o professor no processo de ensino aprendizagem. Desta maneira, os espaços não-formais fornecem um ambiente adequado para aulas atrativas e inovadoras, capazes de estimular o interesse por parte dos educandos. Dentre estes espaços destacam-se: os Refúgios de vida Silvestre, Matas ciliares, matas próximas a escolas, que podem ser usadas como recursos didáticos para os diversos conteúdos da educação. A mata do Poção, situada no povoado Colônia Treze, em Lagarto-SE, dista aproximadamente 13 Km da sede do município e localizasse a apenas 4 km de duas unidades de ensino: o Colégio Estadual Luiz Alves de Oliveira e a Escola M. Mons. João Batista de C. Daltro. Este trabalho tem como proposta, um guia para aulas práticas de botânica nos ambientes encontrados na mata do Poção, onde são divulgadas espécies de plantas ocorrentes neste fragmento de mata. Desta maneira, além de contribuir auxiliando os professores da região, com o conhecimento da diversidade florística local, haverá uma colaboração para a conservação das poucas áreas de mata nativa restantes no Estado de Sergipe. No ano de 2010, foram efetuadas coletas de material botânico tanto ao longo de trilhas préexistentes como fora delas. O material coletado foi herborizado e logo após serem devidamente tratados e identificados, foram incorporados à coleção do Herbário ASE da Universidade Federal de Sergipe. Todas as espécies coletadas foram fotografadas em campo. Foram inventariadas 165 espécies, distribuídas em 44 famílias botânicas. A família mais representativa foi Fabaceae, seguida de Asteraceae e Cyperaceae respectivamente.
