The organizations have big concerns about the production, because they need to produce with quality, in enough quantity to commercialize and meet the customer needs. This requires ways to decrease unpredictability and consequently boosting earning, being able to use the Kanban tool as a helper in the stock management. The purpose of this study is to analyze how the Kanban system makes it possible to improve the stock management of a Construction company. In order to achieve the proposed objective a bibliographic research and a case study in the mentioned company were carried out. For the data collection, a questionnarie of descriptive and qualitative nature was used so that it was possible to evaluate the main concerns and problems in the construction company. Then, it was verified that the implanted management system brought results beyong expectations for the company. Those results showed that the unpredictabilities and your consequencies were significantly reduced, therefore, it was concluded that the application of the Kanban tool was of great relevance, as it provided the company to achieve a stock management that allows low rates of not only unpredictability, but also low rates of emergency costs.
