Resumo: The aim of this work is to present a study on the social and psychological interferences within the Instagram social network, providing an analysis on users who seek for aesthetic interventions, either physical or virtual, in a way that we can understand their behaviors and the reasons behind such idealizations. The research methods range from data collection to case studies, aiming to analyze in a real context the phenomenon and its relationships that are driven by the beauty standards imposed by society through media.
