A (res) significação do rádio dentro do processo educacional de Cícero Dantas – Bahia, na perspectiva do letramento informacional e midiático no ensino fundamental II

Resumo: | Providing a meaningful and quality education in contemporary times is a challenge that is imposed, even more intensely, in realities where there is inequality of access to Information and Communication Technologies. Based on this understanding, the study on screen promoted the elaboration of a set of didactic materials for the orientation of scientific research in the school scope, starting from the diagnosis of the ongoing initiative carried out in the city of Cícero Dantas - Bahia, in which the (re)significance of the importance of radio media for the educational process and the promotion of Informational and Media Literacy. The methodological procedures used were bibliographical research and case study, with descriptive and exploratory objectives, qualitative analysis and applied nature. Its results are based on the diagnosis of the educational radio program “Educação & Superação nas Terras do Bom Conselho”, identifying the main gaps related to school research and the construction of knowledge. As products, intervention proposals were presented through the construction of three radio episodes to be shown on YouTube (nº 1, 2 and 3); twelve podcasts for broadcast on Spotify; three infographics corresponding to the respective episodes; and a booklet entitled “Education & Overcoming in the Lands of Bom Conselho”, in editorial format, which brings together all the written content of the episodes, links to access both platforms and infographics. It is hoped that this research can encourage studies on the subject, especially with regard to the use of radio within the educational process to promote Information and Media Literacy, bearing in mind that the social phenomenon of information demands the diversification of sources of information. research, and radio, given its historical importance, its pedagogical character and its broadly democratic reach, has the power to continue contributing significantly to human development, as it had happened in the Municipal Teaching Network of Cícero Dantas - Bahia. |

Com base nessa compreensão, o estudo em tela promoveu a elaboração de um conjunto de materiais didáticos para a orientação da pesquisa científica no âmbito escolar, partindo do diagnóstico da iniciativa em curso realizada na cidade de Cícero Dantas – Bahia, na qual ocorreu a (res)significação da importância da mídia rádio para o processo educacional e a promoção do Letramento Informacional e Midiático. A ancoragem teórica se situa nas discussões sobre a contribuição do programa educacional de rádio para a educação científica dos alunos do ensino fundamental II, na perspectiva do referido letramento. Os procedimentos metodológicos utilizados foram a pesquisa bibliográfica e o estudo de caso, sendo seus objetivos descritivos e exploratórios, de análise qualitativa e natureza aplicada. Seus resultados estão pautados no diagnóstico do programa educacional de rádio “Educação & Superação nas Terras do Bom Conselho”, identificando as principais lacunas referentes à pesquisa escolar e à construção do conhecimento. Como produtos, foram apresentadas propostas de intervenção através da construção de três episódios de rádio para exibição no YouTube (nº 1, 2 e 3); doze podcasts para veiculação no Spotify; três infográficos correspondentes aos respectivos episódios; e uma cartilha intitulada “Educação & Superação nas Terras do Bom Conselho”, no formato editorial, a qual congrega todo o conteúdo escrito dos episódios, os links para acesso a ambas plataformas e os infográficos.
