Análise dos resultados pós-implantação de sistemas integrados de gestão (ERP) : estudo de múltiplos casos em Sergipe

The information technology (IT) has evolved from a traditional administrative support orientation to a strategic role within the organization, and the Enterprise Resource Planning in this context arise to integrate the company sectors and make it respond market requirements. The organizational processes are undergoing a modification regarding the complexity of the procedures and activities, such as: the need of the speed in the operations, competitive advantage, reduction of costs, business acting, among others. Given these benefits ERP have increased their market share and are beginning to arouse both academic and business interest, mainly for PME. This study looked for to analyze the results, post-implantation of the system ERP, have optimized the organizational processes in companies of small load, in the city of Aracaju, Sergipe. Two companies were chosen for the construction of the analysis corpus. These two companies are recognized in the market, have gone through all stages of system deployment and are now in the post-implantation phase. The research method adopted was the study of multiple cases with qualitative approach of descriptive character.The information was collected using a semi-structured interview script that was applied to the partners and main promoters of the use of the ERP in the company. From the results and the analyzes carried out, it can be inferred that the studied organizations have many divergent points regarding the organizational processes existing before and after implantation and the results obtained postimplantation of the ERP system. The comparative analysis of the cases showed that the partners' reason for implantation was practically the same ones, as: reducing costs, increasing decision making, business performance, linking processes, reducing labor and increasing speed in service the service. However, only one of the obtained a more solid result in relation to the execution of the pointed reasons and concerning the obtained benefits. In the case of the other, the implementation of the project failed, compromising the post-deployment phase of the ERP system, making the system largely underutilized and not fully adhering to the expected benefits in organizational performance.
