Diagnóstico de boas práticas agropecuárias em sistemas de produção leiteira do Alto Sertão Sergipano

The Good Agricultural Practices (BPA's) applied to dairy farming deal with the implementation of adequate procedures at all stages of milk production on the properties. The adoption of BPAs is essential for the development of rural properties and consequently for the quality of milk, providing the reduction of non-conformities in relation to key areas linked to dairy production. Thus, the present work aimed to evaluate the degree of conformity of the adoption of good agricultural practices of dairy production systems in the Alto Sertão Sergipano. The survey was carried out through a questionnaire containing 108 questions related to the adoption of GAPs following the items of the key areas required by Normative Instruction (IN) No. 77/2018 of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA) applied to 116 producers of milk that provide the raw material for the Natulact dairy. The properties were located in the municipalities of Nossa Senhora da Glória - SE (30 producers), Monte Alegre de Sergipe -SE (10 producers), Porto da Folha - SE (19 producers), Poço Redondo -SE (35 producers) and Canindé de San Francisco -SE (22 producers). The items in the key areas of greatest nonconformities were training of workers (81%) and preventive maintenance and equipment calibration (57%) with a low level of compliance with BPA, with the most common problems being the lack of described hygiene procedures, not performing the CMT test. On the other hand, the most appropriate areas were facilities, equipment and utensils for milk production (78%), milk refrigeration and storage (77%), personal hygiene and workers' health (72%), integrated control of pests (69%), food management and food storage (64%), water quality (60%) and the area of management of inputs and properties (60%). In view of the results, the dairy field team carried out improvement actions such as on-site training and lectures in order to make producers aware of the importance of implementing BPA's on the property. Thus, analyzing the key areas is essential to propose and apply improvement actions, in order to improve the quality of milk, bringing return to the dairy and the producer.
