Resumo: This work has as its theme the Quality of Work Life at the Senator Paulo Sarasate State School, located in the city of São Cristóvão - SE. The general objective To verify the quality of life problems at work in the Senator Paulo Sarasate State School that affect the provision of good services to the users of the school by the servants. The specific objectives were: To qualitatively approach the collection of information from the questionnaire submitted in the research; Describe the information about the target population of the work establishing the relationship with the subject. In order to present the subject in an objective and clear way was used in the theoretical foundation the concept of Quality of Life at Work, QLW models, the importance of Quality of Life in the Work, factors that stimulate employees in the workplace, quality of life in the public service work, quality of public services and the influence of QWL in public schools. This research is classified as quantitative, referring to the objectives was descriptive, and as regards technical procedures it is classified as bibliographical, documentary and field research. To collect data from the research, a structured questionnaire was used based on the categories proposed in the QWL Model by Hackman and Lawler. The target audience for field research were teachers, who work in the classroom at school and other staff. For the analysis of the data, statistical resources were used, which often consisted of the use of cross tables, frequency analysis of the phenomena and their distribution, analysis of relations through the results found. It is concluded that the research diagnosis was of great importance for the school, since the study demonstrates a range of information that will serve as a basis for discussions and debates for future improvements in the work environment with a review of the workload seen as excessive / exhaustive beyond the physical conditions of work seen as unsatisfactory and strengthen the relations people pointed out as one of the most positive points and for the well being of all who make up the school's functional framework

O objetivo geral busca verificar os problemas de qualidade de vida no trabalho na Escola Estadual Senador Paulo Sarasate que afetam a prestação de bons serviços aos usuários da escola por parte dos servidores. Os objetivos específicos foram: identificar os fatores de remuneração e condições de trabalho na Escola Estadual Senador Paulo Sarasate; Identificar a percepção da qualidade de vida no trabalho dos funcionários da escola pesquisada; Analisar como a qualidade de vida no trabalho estimula os servidores a prestarem bons serviços aos usuários da escola pesquisada. Para expor o assunto de maneira objetiva e clara foi utilizado na fundamentação teórica o conceito de Qualidade de Vida no Trabalho, modelos de QVT, a importância da Qualidade de Vida no Trabalho, fatores que estimulam os funcionários no ambiente de trabalho, Qualidade de vida no trabalho no serviço público, qualidade dos serviços públicos e a influência da QVT nas escolas públicas. Esta pesquisa classifica-se quanto à abordagem como quantitativa, referente aos objetivos foi descritiva, e quanto aos procedimentos técnicos classifica-se como bibliográfica documental e pesquisa de campo. Para a coleta de dados da pesquisa utilizou-se um questionário estruturado com base nas categorias propostas no Modelo de QVT de Hackman e Lawler. O público-alvo da pesquisa de campo foram os professores, que atuam em sala de aula na escola e demais funcionários. Para a análise dos dados foram utilizados recursos de estatística descritiva que consiste frequentemente na utilização de tabelas cruzadas e sua distribuição através dos resultados encontrados.
