Resumo: Music education over the last few years has consolidated its importance for the development of children in their cognitive and perceptual functions that facilitate the expression of emotions and cultural expansion. The purpose of this study is to discuss theoretical aspects of music education in an inclusive and human development perspective, through the concepts of Swanwick (2003) and the socio-historical-cultural psychology of Vygotsky (2014; 1998; 1994; 1987), considering the authors' reflections on the experiences and knowledge arising from practices in a training environment with children, who live their childhoods in different scenarios.
