Resumo: | The year 2020 was marked by the worldwide spread of Covid-19, a disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, generating a pandemic situation. Because of this, coping strategies were created that significantly impacted the daily lives of people, especially children. Therefore, understanding and discussing this current issue can significantly contribute to the reduction and repair of damage. Thus, the general objective of this study was to identify the impacts of social distancing due to the Covid-19 pandemic in the lives of children in the perception of their caregivers, verifying the main characteristics of the daily lives of children in the pandemic context and the existence of changes in the characteristics of occupations and their development after the beginning of social distancing. This was a quantitative, survey and cross-sectional survey, in which an online questionnaire was applied with 96 caregivers of children aged 6 to 10 years, enrolled in regular education grades, early years (1st year to 5th year), in municipal schools in the urban area of the city of Itabaiana/SE. The data analysis process involved coding procedures for responses and data tabulation. The results revealed changes in routine, food, sleep quality, child behavior, as well as in the learning and development process, as perceived by caregivers. It is concluded that this work contributes to the debate, reflection and definition of strategies aimed at minimizing the impacts arising from social distancing. |

Por conta disso, foram criadas estratégias de enfrentamento que impactaram significativamente o cotidiano das pessoas, em especial, das crianças. Sendo assim, entender e discutir essa temática atual pode contribuir significativamente para a redução e reparação dos danos. Desse modo, o objetivo geral desse estudo foi identificar os impactos do distanciamento social em função da pandemia do Covid-19 na vida de crianças na percepção de seus cuidadores, verificando as principais características do cotidiano de crianças no contexto pandêmico e a existência de mudanças nas características das ocupações e em seu desenvolvimento após o início do distanciamento social. Tratou-se de uma pesquisa quantitativa, de levantamento e transversal, em que foi aplicado um questionário online com 96 cuidadores de crianças de 6 a 10 anos, matriculadas nas séries de ensino regular, anos iniciais (1º ano até o 5º ano), nas escolas municipais da zona urbana da cidade de Itabaiana/SE. O processo de análise de dados envolveu procedimentos de codificação das respostas e tabulação dos dados. Os resultados revelaram alterações na rotina, na alimentação, qualidade de sono, comportamento infantil, como também no processo de aprendizagem e desenvolvimento, conforme a percepção dos cuidadores.
