Resumo: | This completion of course’s research analyzes the comic Punk Rock Jesus, launched between 2012 and 2013 by artist Sean Gordon Murphy, in the sense of establishing it as a possible historiographical source for the study of punk counterculture. Through the qualitative approach of the data collected during bibliographic and documentary research, the analysis presents representations of the punk movement present in the comic strip studied, based on the methods developed by Nildo Viana (2013) and Marc Ferro (1975), the definitions of comic books developed by Will Eisner (1985) and Scott McCloud (1995; 2008), the concepts of Cultural and Social History present in the works of Roger Chartier (2002) and Peter Burke (2012) and information about the punk movement of the works by Antonio Bivar (2018), Daniel Rodrigues (2012) and Craig O'Hara (2005). Elements of the narrative and imagery of the comic books were found and related to the ideals, characteristics and history of the punk movement, enabling the interface between punk rock, comic books and Cultural History by proving the validity of this document as an object of study of history. |

Através da abordagem qualitativa dos dados levantados durante pesquisa bibliográfica e documental, a análise apresenta representações do movimento punk presentes na história em quadrinhos estudada, tendo como base analítica os métodos desenvolvidos por Nildo Viana (2013) e Marc Ferro (1975), as definições de histórias em quadrinhos desenvolvidas por Will Eisner (1985) e Scott McCloud (1995; 2008), os conceitos da História Cultural e Social presentes nas obras de Roger Chartier (2002) e Peter Burke (2012) e as informações sobre o movimento punk dos trabalhos de Antonio Bivar (2018), Daniel Rodrigues (2012) e Craig O’Hara (2005).
