Resumo: | The Literature is not a static phenomenon, it's subject to mutations and ruptures. Therefore, the concept of beauty, in medieval literature, which inspired the idea of “ideal woman” underwent changes and, consequently, changes occurred with regard to Platonic conceptions of the female profile, when we compare the lyrical and satirical genres. In the Middle Ages, in the palace environment, satirical songs emerged, literary forms that truthfully reflected problems, concerns and moral concepts of the time, through a sardonic (sarcastic, malicious) vision, as D. Afonso X did in his profane songs. These concepts were not restricted to literary themes; they also reached the canvases of Renaissance artists. In this research, therefore, we deal precisely with the portrait of the woman satirized in the songs of D. Afonso X and in the paintings of the 16th century, based on the work Velha, by Quentin Massys and Leonardo da Vince. The research proved that, in their different forms, poetry and painting, converges on the same point: the satirized woman, with a ridiculed appearance and a distorted character. |

In this research, therefore, we deal precisely with the portrait of the woman satirized in the songs of D. The research proved that, in their different forms, poetry and painting, converges on the same point: the satirized woman, with a ridiculed appearance and a distorted character.
