Little Tickles: Sexual Abuse of Girls

Resumo: | This paper, an attempt to deal with the interpretation of the film Little Tickles under the academic perspective of Hermeneutics, aims to discuss the issue of sexual abuse suffered by girls in their childhood. The theoretical contributions from Rogério de Almeida and Marcos Ferreira-Santos on Cinema and Hermeneutics allow us to comprehend that Cinema, through its proposed itineraries, is also a means of formation. Thus, in that sense, Cinema can be seen as an educational resource. The author of this paper openly reverberates her academic trajectory, making use of constructs regarding education, feminism, genre and sexuality. All of those academic constructs are enriched by the views of the Spanish essayist María Zambrano, in her work entitled As metáforas do coração (The metaphors of the heart) - a sensitive essay in which the resonances of a childhood sexual abuse throughout her life as a woman are highlighted. As a conclusion, the present academic work shows that much courage is needed to break free from such pains. For this reason, it is highly important to narrate, to study and to discuss child sexual abuse with teachers and parents so that children who have suffered those sorts of violence may have a chance to keep on leading their lives safely. |

Las aportaciones teóricas de Rogério de Almeida y Marcos Ferreira-Santos sobre cine y hermenéutica nos permiten comprender que el cine también crea un itinerario de formación y, en este sentido, es educativo. La autora deja que se reflejen de manera autónoma las lecturas que hizo, a lo largo de su trayectoria académica, sobre educación, feminismo, género y sexualidad, asociadas con el ensayo de la española María Zambrano, titulado Las metáforas del corazón, un lema sensible para resaltar la resonancia del abuso sexual sufrido durante la infancia, repercutiendo a lo largo de toda la vida de la mujer. Concluimos que se necesita valor para emanciparse de ese gran dolor, estudiar, hablar y narrar sobre el abuso sexual con padres y educadores para que los niños puedan avanzar en la vida de manera segura.A leitura hermenêutica do filme Inocência roubada, foco deste texto, tem por objetivo tratar de abuso sexual com meninas. As contribuições teóricas de Rogério de Almeida e Marcos Ferreira-Santos sobre cinema e hermenêutica nos permitem entender que o cinema também cria um itinerário de formação e, nesse sentido, é educativo. A autora deixa reverberar de maneira autônoma as leituras que fez, ao longo de sua trajetória acadêmica, sobre educação, feminismo, gênero e sexualidade, associadas ao ensaio da espanhola María Zambrano, intitulado “As metáforas do coração”, mote sensível para destacar a ressonância do abuso sexual sofrido na infância, ecoando pela vida inteira da mulher.
