Resumo: | This study revalidates the four scales of the Inventory on Work and Risks of Illness (IWRI) for technical-administrative managers in education (TAE). The IWRI was applied to a sample of 146 TAE managers at a federal university. Exploratory factor analysis (AFE) was performed. Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) values ranged from 0.837 to 0.932. The internal consistency of the scales was significant, explaining at least 65.5% of the total variance. Some items were excluded or grouped differently from the original matrix. As for the work context, managers perceive work conditions, socio-professional relationships, work control and work pace. Human costs were divided into cognitive, physical, ethical affective and emotional affective costs. About the experiences of pleasure and suffering, managers perceive two factors, sources of pleasure and sources of suffering. With regard to damage arising from managerial work, managers perceive the three dimensions, social, physical and psychological damage. |
