Resumo: | The theme of this article is fixed in the change of plans related to employment-employee and its reflexes in careers. The goal of this research was identifying the reasons which take strategic level professionals to break the “organizational armo”, represented by the retention of talents policies and the possible relation between taken decision and the current scene of changes in the job-employed relationship. It was identified, still, the anchors of career of each interviewed using the considered model for Schein (1987). The research strategy chosen was the case study in an important steel company considered an excellent place to work. The reasons presented by those interviewed are associated to its anchors of career and to demands which cannot be met by the ample benefits offered by the company and are related to career stays. This signals the need for the enterprise to reevaluate the focus and boundaries of its retention policies. |
