Resumo: | Managerialism is known for facilitating management practices that enable the exercise of power through striking ideologies in producing workers' subjectivity. Thus, this research aimed to investigate how the modes of subjectivation are shown, from managerialist management, in the daily work of teachers in private institutions of higher education. The research is characterized as exploratory-descriptive qualitative, and data collection took place through interviews with 16 professors from 3 private institutions in Curitiba-PR. The reports allowed us to understand that managerialist ideology influences the choices, perceptions, expectations, and meanings of work. Managerialism builds a work method centered on belonging and voluntary adherence, taking education as a service that must meet market demands. The results also revealed that managerial practices are linked to objective and subjective factors. However, elements of singularities also reveal themselves as resistance and reflections in the face of the ideologies promoted by management. |

However, elements of singularities also reveal themselves as resistance and reflections in the face of the ideologies promoted by management.
