Resumo: Science may be conceived as the human activity that has the purpose of describing the real by a reliable process. This horizon opens a series of perspectives to investigation, such as the nature of this real, the language accuracy used to represent it and therefore, the reach of its cognoscibility. There have been several (poor) solutions proposed, producing an intense conceptual debate, especially in the 20th century. In the heart of these controversies lies the original thought of the philosopher Paul K. Feyerabend, defender of an epistemological anarchism as the best alternative to the scientific praxis. Discussing the Feyerabend's conceptions about the relations between the scientific discourse and the real, delimiting their implications in the education in Science, are the aims of the present paper.
