Resumo: This work consists in two parts. In the part 1, we present the main ideas for a new general methodology, turned to the application of the basilar principles of the psychological theory of learning of David Ausubel, in order to address its effective realization as a didactic instrument. For that, we proceed to a logical analysis of the so-called subsumption relation and of the conditions of sufficiency and necessity for the subsumption process that the relation intends to realize. Based on this analysis, we develop two theoretical constructs: the schematic prospect of subsumption and the instrument of subsumption. The general methodology was built on these two constructs. The part 2 is presented in the subsequent paper, where we present an example of application of this new methodology, that consists in the development of an instrument of subsumption turned to the teaching of elementary concepts of undulatory physics from musical/acoustic concepts of pitch and of consonance/ dissonance.

In the part 1, we present the main ideas for a new general methodology, turned to the application of the basilar principles of the psychological theory of learning of David Ausubel, in order to address its effective realization as a didactic instrument.
